Questions
*** FAQ
What can I expect from the first session? Do I need to prepare?
The first session is more than just a conversation — it’s an experience. It’s a space where we explore what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain, and what truly matters to you. We’ll discuss your concerns, goals, and any questions you may have, while also getting a sense of whether we’re the right fit to work together.

You don’t need to prepare — just come as you are. If you’re unsure where to start, that’s completely okay. I’ll guide the conversation, and together, we’ll find a natural place to begin.

By the end of the session, you may gain a sense of clarity, a deeper understanding of your challenges, or even start to connect important pieces of your life in new ways. This is an opportunity to feel truly seen, welcomed with everything you bring, and to experience what it’s like to share something sacred with someone deeply interested in who you are.
How long does therapy take? When do I see results? Can you guarantee results?
Therapy is a deeply personal process, and the timeline varies for everyone. Some people notice changes within a few sessions, while others engage in deeper work over an extended period.

At times, therapy can act as a quick fix — especially in moments of crisis when immediate support is needed. In these cases, it serves as a stabilizing force, offering relief, clarity, and tools to help you manage the situation. But just like a band-aid provides temporary protection, lasting change takes time, commitment, and ongoing work.

There are no guarantees in therapy, as transformation depends on many factors — your openness, willingness to reflect, and readiness to take action. What I *can* guarantee is that I will bring my full presence, care, and expertise. If you engage in the process, you will see and feel the results.
What if your approach isn’t the right fit for me? Do you offer a free session?
Your comfort and trust in therapy are essential. If you ever feel we are not the right fit, I respect your decision and can provide referrals to other therapists who may better suit your needs.

I don’t offer free full sessions, as I believe commitment — both emotional and financial — is an important part of the therapeutic process. However, I do offer a free 20-minute Initial Connection Call. This is an opportunity to ask questions, share what’s bringing you to therapy, and get a feel for how we might work together.
Is there a difference in price
for in-person therapy vs. teletherapy?
No, the fee is the same for both. The value of therapy comes from the depth of our work together, not the format. Whether we meet in person or online, you’ll receive the same level of presence, commitment, and support to ensure a meaningful and effective therapeutic experience.
How do I choose between teletherapy and in-person therapy? Which one is best?
I offer both in-person and teletherapy (online). If you have the option, I recommend in-person sessions, as they allow for deeper engagement, richer nonverbal communication, and a more immersive experience.

That said, teletherapy can be just as effective and offers greater flexibility. What matters most is that you feel comfortable and supported in your sessions. If you choose online therapy, I recommend a quiet, private space with a stable internet connection where you can speak freely. If you're unsure which format is best for you, we can explore it together.
Do you offer assessments and testing?
No, assessments and psychological testing are not part of my services. My focus is on therapy and deep personal work. If you’re looking for testing, I’d be happy to offer guidance on where you might find the right resources.
Can you prescribe medications?
No, I do not prescribe medications. However, if medication is something you’d like to explore, I can collaborate with your primary care provider or refer you to a psychiatrist who specializes in medication management.
Do I need to have a specific problem to start therapy, or can I come for self-exploration?
If you are considering therapy, it likely means you are ready for it. You don’t need to be in crisis to begin. Therapy isn’t just about solving problems — it’s also a space for self-exploration, growth, and deepening your understanding of yourself. In fact, some of the most meaningful and lasting change happens when you have the space, inner resources, and balance to reflect and explore what you truly want.
Is everything I share in therapy confidential?
Confidentiality is a fundamental part of therapy. Everything we discuss remains private unless there is a legal or ethical obligation to protect you or someone else from harm. In rare cases, I may consult with a trusted colleague to ensure the highest quality of care, but these conversations are strictly professional, fully anonymous, and uphold confidentiality.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?
You are welcome to reschedule or cancel a session, but please provide at least 24 hours' notice to avoid being charged. For more details on payments and scheduling, see the Payment Details section.
Do you offer support between sessions?
Therapy works best when sessions serve as a dedicated space for exploration. If something comes up between sessions, I encourage you to jot down your thoughts, emotions, or questions and bring them to our next session. This way, we can explore them together with full attention and depth.

If you’re in crisis or need immediate support, please reach out to a crisis hotline, a local mental health resource, or schedule an additional session when possible.
